Chalei is going to be a BIG SISTER!

My little girl is growing up so quickly and I can't believe she's almost 2 years old! She is going to be a Big Sister and we couldn't be more excited! We are due on September 3rd!

My little diva is just about 20 months old now and is into everything! Her favorite? Going into mommy's closet and wearing her heels. Here she is with one of my purple ones, and though in this picture, shes only wearing one side, don't be fooled...this girl clunks around the house with both sides on, all the time. She actually does really well, but the heels she chooses are always so tall and I worry she'll twist her ankle. She really is my girly-girl ;-)

She loves to help mom with household chores like folding laundry, dusting, and vacuuming. She adores her daddy and lights up when he comes home from work everyday. They enjoy dancing and singing around the house and also have rough&tough wrestle and tickle matches before bed. She may be a girly-girl, but shes also a tough lil cookie ;-)

Baby Jason, her cousin, is her best buddy and worst enemy. They get so excited to see each other and they will normally run towards each other to embrace. It's the most adorable thing. They can play so nicely together and carry full conversations in their own babble language. Then there are times where all they do is fight over the SAME toy, even though there are a million other toys in the room. They are adorable, none the less, and I hope as they grow, will develop a close friendship ;-)

Chalei is so smart! She loves to read books, color, paint, play with playdo, and recently, surprised mom and dad by showing us that she can count to 10! She occasionally leaves out numbers 1 and/or 8, but considering shes not yet 2 years old, Wilson and I are very proud!

(I'll post a video soon!) She also loves to read books to us, by pointing out all of the pictures and naming them (sun, moon, banana, flower, cat, etc...)

Our little sweetheart is growing and though it's a little sad *tear*, we are very excited to watch her new milestones. We are ecstatic to be adding to our little family and we know Chalei will be an awesome big sister! You are such an amazing little girl with so much potential and we are proud that you are ours! We love you baby girl!
