The Family Circus has arrived...

Happy Halloween!
The Fatongia Family decided that because our home can sometimes feel like a Circus, we would be CLOWNS for Halloween this year!

I looked around at stores here in Hawaii and didn't find much so I decided to look on-line. I found things for Chalei and I, but nothing for Wilson. I kept looking and found this one at a different store, but it matched ours EXACTLY! I was thrilled with the way things turned out and luckily, my husband is great and was willing to wear this silly thing ;-)

We had a wonderful Trunk-or-Treat at our chapel on Friday, the night before Halloween. It's such a great event and always has an overwhelming turnout! All the children in attendance had a blast and Wilson and I even took home an award for the "Cutest Pumpkin" for the pumpkin carving contest!
Then on Halloween night, we attended a party in Lanikai, hosted by our friends, the Nainoa & Janny Gibson. It was so much fun! There was food, games, contests, and of course, Trick-or-Treating down their street. And guess who won the costume contest??? YAY for the clowns!
These "severed fingers" were pupu's at the event! They were SO COOL and delicious too! They were made from some kind of a peanut butter mix, that was wrapped around a pretzel stick and then it had an almond slice as the finger nail. HOW CREATIVE IS THAT!?!

The River's were Pirates this year and Baby J was adorable!

Poor Chalei came down with a Sinus Infection on Friday so she wasn't the happiest camper, but she got through the whole weekend like a trooper!

Our Halloween Weekend was a BLAST and as Chalei gets older, it gets to me more fun! To sit and watch her find joy in the smallest things is rewarding as parents!

Can't wait till next year!!!

  1. GREAT costumes. Wilson always was such a clown. Sometimes we didn't even want to take him ANYWHERE with us. Lol.
